03 — The artist

A fine artist,
then a tattoo artist.

Sephora Vella is a Malta-based tattoo artist whose practice is grounded in drawing, painting and art history. Her work moves between realism, precise linework and abstract geometry, always beginning with the person who will wear it.

Before tattooing, Sephora spent seven years teaching art. That background still shapes the way she listens, composes and turns personal references into balanced, lasting work.

04 — The process

From first thought
to final line.

  1. 01

    Bring the story

Share the idea, references and meaning you want the piece to carry. It can begin as a clear image or simply a feeling.

  2. 02

    Shape the composition

Sephora develops a one-off design around your anatomy, scale and preferred visual language, then refines it with you.

  3. 03

    Make it permanent

The final work is tattooed with patience, close attention to detail and a calm, collaborative approach.
